We are currently recruiting participants to our hearing study of hearing ability and cognition. The purpose of this study is to investigate the cognitive factors are correlated with high performance in auditory perceptual recognition tasks, or, in other words, an individual’s ability to accurately identify sounds. We have created a test battery that explores multiple aspects of hearing and cognition, including working memory, effort, personality, as well as matching sounds to their associated visual stimuli and a cognitive health screening.

We are looking for individuals 18 years of age and older. There is no upper age limit as we are interested in working with individuals of a variety all ages. We ask that you have some hearing ability, and use of hearing aids or cochlear implants are welcome.
